Optimal Strategies for Elderly Public Transport Service Based on Impact-Asymmetry Analysis: A Case Study of Harbin

The difficulty of travel for the elderly is a challenge urban management. Quantifying satisfaction public transport services from perspective people-oriented scientific research method. Based on survey data 2019 and 2020 by selecting interview people over retirement age before analyzing non-linear relationship between bus service elements impact-asymmetry analysis gradient boosting decision trees, optimization strategy ground transportation in Harbin was obtained. results show that following five factors have greatest impact overall satisfaction, namely, site broadcasting, complaint handling, awning facilities, driver driving habits, punctuality operation. Among them, “awning,” “punctuality operation,” “drivers’ habits” should be given priority to improve. conclusion this study provides theoretical basis accurate services.
